In view of implementing the goal and objectives of AVA, the Association has decided to establish the following:
1. An African School of Open Education (ASOE) to help in imparting life and practical skills to young people who have dropped out of school or those who have not been able to be employed. ASOE will eventually design courses which lead to academic awards. The school is putting up workshops for wood, metal and soil/clay products, and for bio-gas-related production.
2. An Institute for Management of Food and Natural Resources (IMFNARE) to focus on the importance of promoting food security and properly managing the environment.
3. A Research Centre to provide AVA with well researched solutions and information backed by a scientific approach.
