This database was developed by the African Volunteers Association (AVA). The original version is based on a project carried out with funding from U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Uganda Biodiversity Fund (UBF), and Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), in 2019. The project aimed at promoting coexistence between humans and plant biodiversity in chosen areas in Kamwenge District, Uganda. The database gives status of plant biodiversity in those areas as indicated in the database. The database will be regularly expanded and updated.
