In August 2019 AVA was chosen to participate in the Development Response to Displacement Impact Project under the name African Volunteers Association Indigenous Nursery Irrigation Vegetables. The project is funded by the World Bank through the Office of the Prime Minister and supports refugee-hosting districts by improving livelihoods, environmental management, and access to services.
