In July 2025 AVA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CIFOR-ICRAF to host a Rural Resource Centre for the South Western sub-region of the Restore Africa Project led by Catholic Relief Services Uganda. AVA will produce between 100,000 and 150,000 high-quality seedlings each year to address biodiversity loss, climate change, food sovereignty, livelihoods, and inequity across nine districts.
